MARQUETTE, Mich. - Gerald (Jerry) Wayne Hough, age 76, of Marquette, Michigan, died on June 15, 2012, at Marquette General Hospital with his wife and family by his side.
He was born June 21, 1935, in Raco, Michigan, to Russell Earl and Violet Marguite (Campbell) Hough.
Jerry served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1957. He married Marilyn Etta White on November 15, 1958, at the Algonquin Methodist Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

He worked at Kincheloe Air Force Base as a vehicle controller until he transferred to K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base and worked in the Department of DRMO as a Hazardous Waste Manager until his retirement.
Jerry loved to travel and especially enjoyed his trip to Hawaii. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and collecting baseball cards. Jerry loved being surrounded by his family and friends, especially by his grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Lynn (Bill) Campbell and Bonnie (Curt) White of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Beth (Dave) Sliwinski of Saginaw, Michigan, and Sally (Jeff) Roo of Marquette; eight grandchildren, Christopher Campbell, Craig (Franchesca) Campbell, Russell (Bruna) White, Daniel White, Nicole Sliwinski, Jason Sliwinski, Olivia Roo, and Elliot Hough; and one great-grandchild, Kelsey Campbell. He is also survived by one sister, Margie (Paul) Savoie of Fibre, Michigan; and brothers, Ken (Char) Hough of Holland, Michigan, and Gary Hough of Rudyard, Michigan.
Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Steve Hough; parents; three sisters and three brothers.
According to Jerry's wishes, no public services will be held.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pickford Township, Michigan.
Reamer Galer Funeral Home, 24549 S. M-129 in Pickford, is serving the family.
