U8 girls, coed divisions post high scoring totals in Superiorland Soccer Association

MARQUETTE - In Week 4 U8 girls action in the Superiorland Soccer Association, the Goblins picked up goals from Belle Lagrou (2), Taylor Marquadt (2), Sammy Balko, Maddie Wood (3), Mya Whitson (2) and Emma Sanderson against the Green Bay Packers. No names were available for Packers goal scorers.

Against the Pink Berets, the Goblins picked up goals from Hannah Winn (2), Wood (3), Aiden Whitting, Lagrou (3) and Taylor Marquardt (2).

Other goal scorers for Week 4 include:

Blue Jays: Romy Kus, Mara Sorenson, Jordan Enright and Tessa Standerford.

Orange Fire Bombs: Sierra Beck, Mackenzie Hennings and Hailey Ridolphi.

Carmel Kids: Abby Racine and Ella Whalen.

Green Giants: Lyndsey Lake, Trinity Byrdick, Addie Ollila and Kyla Palomaki.

Grey Thunder: Ashlee Blom, Delaney Marchiol, Leah Fortino, Katelyn Pancheri and Katelyn Dunleavy.

U8 coed

In action from June 10-16, the Golden Soccer Balls defeated the Blue Sharks 5-4. Tobi Camilli, Dillon Maki and Perter Closner scored for the Golden Soccer Balls and Dakota Fredy and Nocholas Asmus scored for the Blue Sharks.

The Green Gators fell to the Demons 3-2. Jordan Perry, Jack Quinnell scored for the Green Gators. Goal scorers were not available for the Demons.

The Orange Crush came up short against the Purple Cobras 5-2. Alex Ehle and Brett LaBelle posted goals for the Crush while the Cobras picked up goals from Mathew Marra, Justin Jurmu, Liam McFarren and Bastian Gephart.

The Green Gators routed the Blue Thunder 15-6. Green Gators goals came from Jack Burzynski, Lizzy Burzynksi, Gavin Dawson, Drew Dellies, Fletcher Rose and Taylor Zima. Blue Thunder scores came from Conner Rudzki, Evan O'Boyle, Heidi Meglathery and Hunter Stanaway.

Team 3 thumped the Growling Bananas 16-1. Emmy Reese had the lone Bananas goal while Tommy Blemberg, Caden Bous, Andon Buyarski and Ethan Swanson scored for Team 3.

Army Green cruised past the Stingers 15-1. Matthias McDermott scored the Stingers' goal. Army Green picked up goals from Eli McFerrin, Jack Quinnell, Avery Pascoe, Jordan Perry, Mark Cambensy, Aiden Marrison and Jace Moore.

The Golden Soccer Balls topped Team 10 7-3. Goal scorers were unavailable for Team 10. Peter Closner, Dillion Maki, Toby Camilli scored for the Golden Soccer Balls.

Brown 15 beat Pink Thunder 11-1. Austin Marier scored for the Thunder. Goal scorers for Brown 15 were not available.

The Blue Lightning tied Green 16 5-5. No scorers were available for Green. John Weber, Jake Garrow, Easton Miller and Cole Johnson scored for Blue Lightning.

U12 girls

The following goal scorers were reported for the week of June 11:

Team 3 defeated Team 4, 11-1. Ona Dalman scored once for Team 4. Vauda Grizzel scored eight goals while Jordyn Jacobson, Sydney Rehmann and Claire Woodward each ahd a goal for Team 3

Team 1 defeated Team 2, 6-5. Team 1 goals came from Kailey Godfrey, Anna Christiansen, Maggie Compton and Kirstyn Miles, who had 3 goals.

Desirae Fernandes scored twice for Team 2, while Ava Brooks, Jenna Sager and Megan Syrjala also scored one goal each.

Team 6 beat Team 5, 8-2. Faith Perala, Chloe Hale and Lexi Heriback scored 1 goal each for Team 6 while Kerrigan Braun had 2 goals and Izabelle Petereson had three. For Team 5, Emily Helgren and Taylor Klarich each had a goal.
