MARQUETTE?- This summer visitors may find some changes at the Studio Gallery, 2905 Lakeshore Blvd., at the entrance to Presque Isle Park.
Studio Gallery founder and nationally known artist Kathleen Conover announced her gallery has come full circle and will once again become a 'working studio."
Conover will use the space by Lake Superior as her full-time studio. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays, or by appointment or by chance. To make an appointment, call 906-360-0596.
Kathleen Conover and the other artists at The Studio Gallery in Marquette have annonced some changes for the art gallery at the entrance to Presque Isle.
Joining Conover at the gallery will be Houghton artist Mary Ann Beckwith and Grand Rapids area artist Kathleen Mooney. All are award winning watermedia artists, teachers and jurors and compete nationally and internationally.
Also working in and managing the gallery is jeweler Amy Conover, who brings her own unique reclamation jewelry.
For a special Fourth of July Holiday event, The Studio Gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from June 29 through July 7. A mix of all the artists will be at the gallery working during these dates.
