Students at Bothwell Middle School sold cookie dough to help raise funds for the Marquette City Police Department's two new K9 units. The "Dough for Dogs" fundraiser was organized by 6th grade teacher Kay Angeli. A check for $3667.12 was presented to Sgt. Marty Munger and K9 Frodo by Kay Angeli and her students Mason Lane, Joey Phillips and Stasha Warchock. The funds will assist the department with the purchase and training of the new dogs that will be used in illegal drug investigations in Marquette County.
