Negaunee Area Historical Society President Virginia Paulson talks to Lakeview Elementary School fifth-graders about the caving grounds that surround the city and the monument that stands in Miners Park in memory of children who have been hurt in old mining sites. Negaunee students also took part in the fourth annual Marigold Mania at Miners Park. Organized by the Negaunee Beautification Committee, the event involves volunteers planting flowers in the park at the beginning of summer.
