ISHPEMING, Mich. - Dolores E. Besander, 82, of Ishpeming, died Thursday afternoon, June 14, 2012, at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility.
She was born July 29, 1929, in Ishpeming, a daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Matheson and attended Ishpeming High School.
Dolores is survived by three daughters, Debora Besander of Ishpeming, Sandy Retaskie of Marquette and Diann Werner of Janesville, Wis.; a son, Andrew Besander, Jr. of Ishpeming; and a brother, Everett (Ole) Matheson of Sault Lake City, Utah.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Racine Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lauri Maki officiating. Interment will be in Northland Chapel Gardens Cemetery.
