ISHPEMING - An Ishpeming man was arrested Thursday by Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team detectives and Ishpeming Police Department officers for possession of methamphetamines.
The man, who was not identified by police, lived along High Street in Ishpeming.
Michigan State Police troopers from the Negaunee Township regional post said during the arrest, detectives observed other components for manufacturing meth, requiring clean-up.
Troopers said the case will be sent the Marquette County Prosecuting Attorney's office for review and anticipated charges.
The UPSET Meth Response Team was performing the clean-up operation.
