NEGAUNEE - Tino's scored a big victory last week to move into first place in Division I of the Ishpeming-Negaunee Women's Horseshoe League last week.
Tino's bounced Richmond Township Club I, 17-1. In other D1 matches, Ralph's Deli beat Cascade I, 14-4, while Hick's edged Negaunee Township QuickShooters, 10-8.
In Division II, VFW remained in first place by doubling up on Richmond Township Club II, 12-6, as did Maki's Mini Mart against Wonder Bar. In the other D2 match, Riverside Club and Hick's Chicks tied 9-9.

In Classic League play June 6, Household Appliance whipped Willey's Tire Shop, 13-5; Negaunee VFW crushed Paradise Bar, 16-2; and American Legion drew a bye.
In the Major League, Maki's Mini-Mart edged Jack's TeePee Bar, 10-8; Riverside Club beat Stonehouse, 11-7; and Norm's Black Rail shaded Hickey's Bar, 10-8.
