Tri-City shuts out Kingsford 10-0 in seven

ISHPEMING - Marcus Garner, Tyler Nault and Cody Dagenais rapped out two hits apiece to lead the Tri-City Northstars to a 10-0, seven-inning mercy rule decision over the visiting Kingsford Kings on June 3.

Dagenais hit a home run and knocked in four runs, while teammates Zac Uren added three RBIs and Steve Ludlum two, as the Northstars improved to 3-0 on the Wishigan League season.

Nault, James Larsen II and Tyler Desjardins all scored two runs each.

Uren took the mound win, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out four in five innings. Reliever Desjardins gave up two hits and fanned four.
