Johnson, Yoho have perfect day at the plate in Class A Iron Range win

Briana Johnson and Paige Yoho both went 4-for-4 with a home run to power IRACORE to a 21-4 Class A victory over Hickey's. Nichi Sundberg went 3-for-4 for Hickey's.

Cliffs Natural Resources edged Crossfit 906, 8-7, behind three hits by Ashley Pietro and two by Nikki Schultz. Kim Koski and Sheri Hewitt rapped out three hits apiece for Crossfit.

Mary Niemi and Libby Nelson belted home runs to lead Buck's Party Store to a 16-9 triumph over PC Medic. Abbie Watters and Shannon Clemo added three hits apiece.

For PC Medic, Molly Wales went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a homer. Megan Reilly posted a round tripper, while Kara Havel and Katie Erspamer added two hits each.

Rookie's Too-Quality Car Care crushed Paradise Bar, 32-14, as Brandi Petrocik and Morgan Hewitt both went 5-for-5. For Paradise, Rachel Hytinen (two doubles) and Rebekah Ayotte both recorded two hits.

Tina Nelson collected four hits and Michelle Turri added three while knocking in three runs to spark Congress to an 11-2 win over Jubilee Foods.

Karen Foster and Christina Rader both went 2-for-3 for Jubilee Foods.

Jasper Ridge Brewery I shelled TeePee Bar, 29-5, as Erika Roberts hit a grand slam and a triple. Teammate LeAnn Saarela went 5-for-5. Andrea Bussiere belted a home run for the losers.

In Class B, Pasquali's downed VFW, 16-8, as Shelley Young went 3-for-4, Frannie Kelly hit two triples, and Jamie Durand smacked a triple and a homer.

For VFW, Kristy Bovin went 3-for-3 with a homer.

Diana Sundberg went 5-for-5 with three circuit clouts as Jasper Ridge Brewery II clobbered Willey's Tire Shop, 25-5. Tera Bell added a grand slam for the winners.

Dave's Collision clubbed Jack's TeePee, 23-5, as Jaime Roose, Mel Bess (homer) and Laura Sovey all went 4-for-4.

For Jack's, Jordan Grigg and Christy Gaboury both posted two hits.

Taryn Moyle recorded five hits (homer) and Chelsea Belanger four (triple) as Tino's II outlasted UP Off Road & Performance, 26-19. Angie Vidlund and Emily Hagge added triples for the winners.

UP Rehab Services toppled Company B Graphics, 12-3, as Ann Herman smacked a home run and Nicholle Uren added a double.

Christine Larson (triple), Tayler Gray (double) and Beth Firby (double) sparked Company B's offense.

Sister's ripped Signs Unlimited, 22-12, as Jesse Rosten hit two homers. Sandie Whitford added a double and a triple, and Jaylyn Martin a triple.

In Class C, Wooden Nickel got five hits - including two grand slams - from Whitney Brugman in a 21-5 triumph over the Negaunee Eagles, despite a home run by Chastity Ellet of the Eagles.

Jenn Tonge, Cassidy Kudis, Kori Tossava and Rachel Scott posted three hits apiece to power Country Lanes to a 7-4 win over Jean Kay's. Jaclyn Davey scored twice for Jean Kay's.

Chapper's Pub won by forfeit over Rookie's I.

Keri Murray slapped out two hits and Ellen Sundberg hit a homer as Eastwood downed Palomaki Family Chiropractic, 9-6. Mary Aho and Mallory Pruett turned in two hits each for the losers.

Martin Sports Apparel shaded UP Fabricating, 8-4, behind two hits apiece by Victoria Powelson (triple) and Sarah Massie (double).

Rachel Mager recorded two safeties for UP Fabricating.
