To the Journal editor:
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Marquette would like to express their deep appreciation for the generous amount of food that was collected recently through the U.S. Postal Service collection and The Mining Journal for the collection of canned goods from the Taste of Home program.
We would also like to recognize Reinhart Foods for allowing us to receive the fresh produce and other perishable foods from their Food Show that was held at Lakeview Arena recently.
All donations are distributed to the needy of our area through our food pantry.
Only through the suppport of you and the giving of the local people can be continue to provide this service to those who need our help so much.
Again, thank you for helping us to help those in need.
