MARQUETTE - Northern Michigan University will begin interviews next week for the three finalists for its athletic director position.
Each candidate will meet select individuals and groups while also making a public presentation about the future of NMU athletics, recreational sports and the U.S. Olympic Education Center.
Profiles as well as complete resumes for the candidates are available online at www.nmu.edu/athletics. Feedback forms will be also be available online and at the presentations, which will be held in the University Center's Pioneer rooms A and B.
Here is the interview schedule:
- Tuesday, 3 p.m., Forrest Karr, director of athletics at the University of Alaska Fairbanks;
- Tuesday, April 17, 3 p.m., David Diles, director of athletics; chairman of the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics; and professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland;
- Thursday, April 19, 4:15 p.m., Sean Johnson, senior associate athletic director of external affairs at the University of North Dakota.
