Smith said the NPDA is an organization working for providers of private duty home care based in Indianapolis, Ind. It has 1,300 to 1,400 members. The NPDA works to educate its members and consumers about best practices for care of elderly and disabled, and advocates for those groups on the state and federal level.
Smith said the free webinar, which starts at 8 p.m. eastern time, will focus on helping non-professional people who care for elderly people suffering from depression, and it will inform others about seeing the signs of incipient depression.
