The Mining Journal

MARQUETTE - Paul Olson, youth development associate at the Great Lakes Center for Youth Development, will present "Are Your Services Meeting Needs?" from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 28 at the Peter White Public Library. Attendees will look at how a community assessment can help their organization see if the services provided meet the needs of the community, and translate that assessment into program planning or tweaking, as well as communicating the value of the services the organization provides to funders.

Cost is $25 for center members and $45 for others. Registration, additional information, information on future workshops and alternative dates and locations are available online at www.glcyd.org or by calling 877-339-6884.

The center seeks to promote healthy communities for youth throughout the region by providing training, consulting and other resources for nonprofits of all shapes, sizes and missions.

For more information on this or other youth development or nonprofit management topics, call the center at 906-228-8919 or visit the center website.
