Cliffs Natural Resources recently donated $8,000 to the VFW Post 4573 in Ishpeming to assist the post in replacing the roof on the VFW hall. Total cost for the roof repair was $16,000. "It means a great deal to me and all the members of the post," Quarter Master Rodney Koivula of VFW Post 4573 said. "We have quite a few bills and the donation from Cliffs really helps out. It's wonderful and we really appreciate it." Jennifer Huetter, Cliffs' district manager, said: "The VFW provides a much needed service to veterans and the communities in which they live. Cliffs is pleased to provide this support."
