MARQUETTE - Two Marquette men were arraigned on felony drug charges Tuesday related to the manufacture of methamphetamine.

William David Lambert and Kevin Marshall Teehan, both 49, were each arraigned on a 20-year felony of operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab and a 20-year felony of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

The two men were arrested Monday night. They are scheduled to appear in Marquette County District Court for a preliminary examination at 2:15 p.m. Feb. 13. Each man is being held on a cash or surety bond totaling $100,000.

In a news release, Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team detectives said the men were allegedly seen purchasing components to manufacture meth at several different stores. Police said the men were known methamphetamine manufacturers and the UPSET investigation led to lengthy surveillance of their activities.

Monday night, Marquette City Police Department officers stopped a vehicle the men were in and Teehan and Lambert were arrested by UPSET detectives.
