MARQUETTE - A Michigamme Township woman found guilty in December of imprisoning her daughter in a cabin off the Peshekee Grade was sentenced Friday to serve 360 days in jail.
Karen Sueogden Kirby, 62, was credited with 245 days served. She was also ordered to pay $398 in fines and costs. Kirby was found guilty after a two-day bench trial before Marquette County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Solka.
The charged stemmed from an May 2011 incident.
