MARQUETTE - The Friday Film Club will sponsor a screening of the modern classic film "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial" at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in the Peter White Public Library community room.

All ages will enjoy Steven Spielberg's endearing film of Elliot, a meek, fatherless little boy who finds a stranded alien. Elliot must find the courage to defy the authorities to help the creature return to its home planet. Winner of four Academy Awards, including Best Original Score for John Williams, the 1982 film is rated PG and runs for 115 minutes.

Light refreshments will be served, and after the screening viewers will have an opportunity to discuss their reactions to the film. For more information, visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
