Having the time of his life

MARQUETTE - Adam Whittington has had the time of his life the past few months while out west.

Including being part of a recording from an artist who's quite well known.

"It has been astonishing the last few months in California. I have had some meetings with different producers; Alex Cantrall, Eddie Galan, Sammy Nija, and most recently Guy Roche," he said. "I also had the privilege of meeting Kanec, who is a choreographer at the Millennium Dance Studio and presently Justin Beiber's choreographer. I look forward to working with Kanec in the near future on choreography.

"I enjoyed being part of the ASPCA benefit in Los Angeles which brought in a lot of funds to help animals. I also finished up the West Coast tour and met a lot of talented artists of who I am planning on working with for future concerts. It was awesome being in a photo shoot with Joshua Tousey of Hollywood. The photos are in the online magazine, spottinstyle, which features photos from around the world of fashion trend setters. The photos were taken at the Grove in Los Angeles and can be seen at website.

"I also had a blast working with Brooklyn Haley on her 'Crash' music video in Los Angeles. One of the pluses of being in California the last few months has been, of course, the beautiful, warm weather."

The well-known artist?

"It was an amazing opportunity to get to sing harmonies with Brooklyn Haley for a new song for Enrique Iglesias," Whittington said. "He had been in the same studio working where I was and I was asked along with Brooklyn to do some harmonies. It's amazing to get to be featured on one of his songs."

Whittington also made a video for one of his own songs over the summer.

"This last summer, I had the privilege of working with Marquette film producer and director, Jeffrey Geniesse on my music video for 'Make The World Love Again.' There were many, many volunteers and dancers who came out to be part of the video. Working with Jeff and the others here in the area, was just as amazing as working in L.A. on set. Everyone was professional and we had a blast putting it all together.

"The feedback I have received is very positive and I have appreciated all the great comments. People I've shared it with back in L.A. are very impressed with the video and I am thankful I had such a great team working on it here in my hometown area in the U.P."
