MARQUETTE?- The Economic Club of Marquette County has a group of dynamic speakers for the 2011-12 season. Candy Crowley, CNN chief political correspondent anchor of "State of the Union," will be the Economic Club's first guest speaker Monday, Sept. 19. Meetings take place at the Ramada Inn, 412 W. Washington St, Marquette. Social hour starts at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. with the speaker presentation at 8 p.m. Meetings conclude at 9 p.m. Economic Club meetings are open to the public.

An Economic Club regular membership costs $220 per year, which includes all eight dinner meetings. Couple membership is $400 per member and spouse, which includes all dinner meetings. An associate membership costs $110 per year, plus $30 per meal when attending meetings. The public may attend at a cost of $40 per meeting, which includes dinner.
