MARQUETTE - Craig T. Coccia, MD, a Marquette neurological surgeon, was elected to the Michigan State Medical Society Board of Directors during the 146th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates held recently in Kalamazoo.
Coccia, a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, will represent physicians from Chippewa, Mackinac, Delta, Luce, Marquette, Alger and Schoolcraft counties.
He is a past president of the Marquette-Alger County Medical Society, served on the Michigan Trauma Care Commission and was founder and president of the U.P. Partnerships for Safety.
