MARQUETTE - Rion Boucher has joined the staff of Changes salon, 1015 N. Third St., Marquette, Originally from Michigan, Rion moved to New York City in 1997, where he worked as a stylist/colorist at Aveda on the Upper West Side.
During his eight years at Aveda, he started doing freelance work which eventually opened doors to styling fashion shows, movies and music videos. He was then hired at Julien Farel, where he trained under the renowned Peter Ohm, learning balayage, a haircoloring technique designed to create natural looking highlights.
