MARQUETTE - Amy Clickner, chief executive officer of the Lake Superior Community Partnership was recently asked to serve on the Collaborative Development Council for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, representing the U.P., with 12 colleagues from across the state.
The CDC's purpose is to provide strategic direction and program input to the MEDC senior leadership team. The working group is intended to advance the state of Michigan's economic development through strengthening relationships, leveraging assets and improving communication and project management between the MEDC and local partners.
