Merged firms host After Hours

MARQUETTE - Compudyne, a family owned information technology firm working out of Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin, has merged with Jeff Nemacheck and Computer Associates of Marquette. The merger will add a team management approach to the region and is expected to yield the best of both companies.

Compudyne employs nearly 60 professionals and is a leading provider of both remote and on-site computer IT services, network consulting and hardware/software installation. The recompany has been in operation since 1987.

Computer Associates of Marquette-Compudyne will be hosting a Business After Hours from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Upfront and Company in Marquette. Guests will be eligible to win several prizes worth a total value of more than $2,500. Prizes include a copy of Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010 and a new HP Laptop EliteBook 8440. The first 50 guests will receive a 2GB USB drive.
