Carols in the Cathedral slated

MARQUETTE - The Marquette Choral Society will present its Christmas concert, "Carols in the Cathedral," at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette. The group is directed by Floyd Slotterback and accompanied by Nancy Redfern. "Midnight Mass for Christmas" will also feature a 12-piece orchestra comprised of Sonja Prichitko, Natalie LaCombe, Dilaine Noel, Kalil Zender, Matt Mitchell, Emmajean Sandbank, Geoff Kartes, Seamus Collins, Harry South, Katie Yadro, Ross Baughan and Nancy Redfern. "Christmas Day" by Gustav Holst will follow, along with various familiar carols for audience participation. For more information, call 227-2563.
