Gwinn school board votes tallied

MARQUETTE - The Gwinn Community Schools Board of Education race will be decided today after the Board of Canvassers meets, according to officials at the Marquette County Clerk's office.

The board has to count the number of votes write-in candidates Ron Lauren and Gene Suardini received. Incumbents Michelle Dolby and Ron Libey received 1,374 and 1,375 votes, respectively. A total of 4,673 votes were cast in the election with all six precincts reporting.
