Follow the money.
About six months ago the Supreme Court ruled that money is another form of speech, and that means multinational corporate conglomerates can dump as much as they want into our political campaigns.
The judges that ruled in this favor were all so-called conservatives. Five to four. And the benefactors of all this are all the Republican hopefuls.
What does all this mean? It means laissez-faire government, which led up to the Great Depression and our latest economic bust. It also means more outsourcing, deregulating all safety laws and environmental laws (How much lead in the air is acceptable?), more union busting.
Our choices are limited, but I'm going to vote for the party that's not the benefactor of all this untraceable money going into these T.V. ads. I'm voting Democrat.
