For the past 10-plus years, I have had an opportunity to work with Jerry Corkin as a member of the City of Negaunee Parks and Recreation Commission on projects concerning not only the city, but the outlying townships. He has always been willing to listen to and work toward resolving recreation issues to the best interest of all.
Most recently, as township supervisor, we are working together to resolve safety issues in the townships and in Marquette County for the benefit of all residents.
Re-elect Mr. Corkin to the county board, as he has demonstrated his willingness to work with everyone for the benefit of his constituents.
