Piece of mock substation arrives on NMU campus

MARQUETTE — The first and biggest piece of a new mock electrical substation outside the Jacobetti Center at Northern Michigan University arrived today. The mock substation will serve as a lab for the the power technician program. its centerpiece — a large transformer — was delivered mid-morning. It was lowered into place with a crane on the east side of the building.
