Waterfront Art Festival in Escanaba

ESCANABA - Several local artists are among the 60 exhibitors who will sell their work at the 39th annual Waterfront Art Festival, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Ludington Park in Escanaba. Featured will be live music, food vendors and art demonstrations throughout the day. At the BAAA raffle tent, tickets can be purchased for an opportunity to own a piece of artwork donated by artists in the festival. A Young Artist's Tent will also be featured.

Participating Marquette area artists include Jerry Harju, regional books; Georgianna Hurst, wearable art; Heather Lundquist, jewelry; and Theresa Sherman-Jones, jewelry. Negaunee artists will include Gail and Mike Brandly, jewelry; Jeff Massie, photography; Rae Warner, dolls/teddy bears; Ishpeming artists will include Jan and Amy Rohen, quilting. Gwinn artists will include Geraldine LeMoine, mosaics; Sue Hubbard, fused glass.
