MARQUETTE — Bishop Frederic Baraga may be one step closer to becoming a saint. The Catholic Diocese of Marquette announced today it will formally open an investigation into an alleged medical miracle attributed to Baraga.
Bishop Alexander K. Sample made the announcement at a press conference this morning.
