ISHPEMING - Ishpeming's negotiations with its Department of Public Works, supervisory and clerical unions brought heated discussion at the council meeting Wednesday night.
City contracts with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees expired on Dec. 31, and employees have been working under day-to-day extensions.
