Police identify homicide victim

MARQUETTE -- Michigan State Police troopers have confirmed the identity of a gun shop owner murdered Tuesday in Marquette Township.

Troopers said the victim is Robert Dusseau, 27, of Ishpeming. Dusseau was one of the owners of the Quik Cash & Guns shop at 2612 U.S. 41 West. His body was discovered buried in a snowbank outside the business by police early today.

Troopers, assisted by Marquette County Sheriff's deputies, crime laboratory personnel and agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, are working on the case.

Dusseau was initially reported missing by a family member Tuesday. Police later found his vehicle parked at an apartment complex nearby. His body was later discovered.

Police have not released the method used in the killing of Dusseau.
