MUNISING - Munising Township residents of all ages are invited to audition for a communitywide talent show planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Mather Auditorium.
The show is sponsored by MHS students and adult volunteers from the community in conjunction with Winter Fest in Munising.
Performers may dance, sing, act, recite poetry, do standup comedy, play musical instruments or display other talents. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners based on total entries and types of entries. Judges will be Munising High School students and staff, and community members.
Admission is by donation, with a requested donation of $1 for adults, 50 cents for children. There also will be a bake sale after the the show, with proceeds benefiting America's Fallen Warriors, which assists injured veterans of the recent Middle Eastern wars who need help with medical expenses.
There is a $3 entry fee per act, and auditions are required to register. Auditions may be performed in person, explained in writing or presented by video/audio recording. Deadline for auditions is Feb. 13.
