Strom scores 24, Reichel 21 in victory

Ishpeming City Basketball League

In Class A, Tim Strom poured in 24 points and Ryan Reichel added 21 to power Ishpeming Credit Union to a 92-69 triumph over Consumers Building.Jake Dellangelo netted 20 points for the losers.

Sodergren Septic got 28 points from Brandon Lawson and 18 from Brad Waters in an 86-56 clubbing of Boldt Construction. Andy Wolf tossed in 22 points for Boldt.

In Class C action, Will Wickstrom (17) and Kurt Alto (16) combined for 33 points for Buck's Subs in a 63-40 victory over Iron Range Agency. Todd Saunders and Jeff Blewett scored 10 points apiece for Iron Range.

Barnes Bros Roofing dropped Jack's TeePee, 64-52, behind 13 points by Brian Matthews and 12 by Jason Salmi. Bud Laitala dropped in 18 points for Jack's.

George Niemi netted 15 points and Ryan Meyer chipped in 12 as I-Build Construction stopped Lofaro's Food Market, 54-42. Mike Provo posted 20 points for Lofaro's.

West Marquette County

Basketball League

The Vierling eked out a 63-59 win over Jerry Brown Painting after trailing 32-31 at the half. Tim Roman led the winners with 23 points.

Tioga Tavern erased a 25-23 halftime deficit to take care of Tino's II, 54-47.

Marquette Meats/Third Street Video rallied from a 31-27 halftime deficit for a 56-48 triumph over Tino's I. Jerry Juricic tallied 21 points for the winners.

Trailing 18-17 at halftime, Jerry Brown Painting outscored Tino's I by 23 points after intermission for a 59-37 win.

CK Unlimited took a close 28-25 halftime lead and won going away with an 85-67 triumph over Tioga Tavern. Mike James (22) and Shane Salmi (20) combined for 42 of the winner's points.

Ojibwa Casino trailed Marquette Meats/Third Street Video 26-25 at the half before rallying for a 50-40 win behind a game high 18 points from Dan Goodman.

CK Unlimited used 27 points from Kyle Miron to punish The Vierling 64-45.

Ojibwa Casino had an easy time with an 84-36 win over Grove Cable. Ryan Higgins, George Parker and Dan Goodman each tallied 20 for the winners.

CK Unlimited Photography trounced Marquette Meats/Third Street Video 71-46 behind 18 points from Brady Peterson.

In games played in Republic, Wickstrom Lumber posted a 41-40 win over Tino's II

The Vierling disposed of Meyer Enterprise, 64-49, as Joe Gleason (26) and Kyle Boudreau (20) combined for 46 points.

Brandon Klyk tallied 20 points as Tioga Tavern surprised Meyer Enterprise, 57-46.

Ryan Meyer and Brian Mattila tossed in 20 points each as Meyer Enterprise had a tough time getting by Jerry Brown Painting, 64-60.
