At a recent ceremony held at the Westwood Mall in Marquette, Kohl's associates from the Marquette area presented a $22,188 check to the Marquette General Women's and Children's Center. Kohl's supports the program through the sale of selected books and plush toys four times per year, with 100 percent of the program's net sales profits being donated to community outreach programs for children. The Women's and Children's Center uses the funds to sponsor Safe and Healthy Family Programs throughout the year.
