Ishpeming Women's Pool League

Jack's II destroyed Hickey's II, 13-3; Paradise slammed Casino Bar, 13-3; American Legion defeated Rumorz II, 10-6; Jack's III beat up on Rainbow Bar, 10-6; Rumorz I pounded Jack's I, 10-6; and Wonder Bar topped Hickey's I, 10-6.

In week 8 results, Angry Beaver stomped Angry Beaver II, 13-2; Hideaway thrashed Full Throttle II, 12-3; Cascade II swamped VFW, 12-3; Cascade bombarded VFW II, 11-4; and Legion II beat Cascade III, 9-6.

Also, Hideaway II edged Full Throttle, 8-7; CrossRoads nipped Legion, 8-7; Gwinn Inn shaded Happy Hour II, 8-7; and Happy Hour trimmed Gwinn Inn II, 8-7.

Table runs were turned in by Brian Demers, Tim Simula, Bryan Kalbfleisch and Bob Greenleaf (twice).

Gwinn Women's Pool

Angry Beavers defeated 1/2 Throttle, 10-5; Happy Hour Happys defeated Gwinn Inn I, 10-5; American Girls defeated Happy Hour II, 10-5; Crossroads defeated Gwinn Inn II, 10-5; SS of A defeated VFW, 10-5; Full Throttle defeated Cascade, 8-7; and Up North defeated VFW, 8-7.

Brett Anderson of the Angry Beavers and Audrey Hogan of the Cascade each had an eight ball break.

Marquette Men's Pool

Results of Oct. 29: Longshot I defeated Pat's II, 9-7; Pat's I defeated Bayou Bar, 12-4; Shaft I defeated Fat Boyz, 11-5; 3rd Base Bar defeated Shaft II, 9-7; Remies defeated Wooden Nickel, 9-7; and Dry Dock tied Longshot II, 8-8.

Len Ryerse and Daryl Small from Pat's II had table runs.

Marquette Women's Pool

Results of Oct. 28; Remillard's defeated Bayou II, 5-4; Longshot I defeated Nickel, 6-3; Longshot II defeated Dry Dock, 6-3; Third Base defeated Fat Boyz II, 5-4; Fat Boyz I defeated Bayou I, 6-3; and Pat's Bar defeated Remie's Roses, 5-4.

Angela Sager from the Wooden Nickel had a table run.

In Week 7 action, Rumorz III topped Rumorz IV, 19-5; Tilden Club beat Wayside, 19-5; Jack's I defeated Rumorz I, 17-7; Casino doubled up Jack's II, 16-8; Hickey's II whipped Woody's, 16-8; Jack's II upended Wonder Bar, 15-9; Hickey's I nipped Riverside, 14-10; and Paradise edged Rumorz II, 14-10.

Earning breaks and runs were Steve Harris of Jack's II and Joe Prisk of Tilden Club.
