Public comments on water projects at city meeting

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Township Board has set an April 21 deadline to decide whether it will go forward with a controversial $5.3 million water system improvement project. At a meeting Tuesday night, the board stopped just short of a decision on the project when some audience members, and at least one board member, suggested first trying to arrange a meeting with the city of Marquette.
