Bassist and composer Evan Premo, pictured, will perform the Linkola Concerto for Double Bass during Echoes of the North, a collage style concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rozsa Center in Houghton. The concert is a collaboration of Premo, the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra, conductor Milton Olsson, soprano Mary Bonhag, Nordic fiddler Laurel Premo and White Water. The concert features music of Finland and the Upper Peninsula and include classical, traditional, folk and contemporary music. Tickets are $15 for the general public, $7 for 18 and younger, and free for Michigan Tech University students. Order tickets at www.rozsa.mtu.edu.
