Students collect for food pantry

Students from Northern Michigan University School of Education's Student Michigan Education Association/Student Council for Exceptional Children and Graveraet Intermediate School's Kids for Change teamed up to collect food and household donations for the food pantry at Voices for Youth on Fourth Street in Marquette. Students collected more than $1,000 worth of donations during the recent evening event. The team collecting the most goods consisted of, front row from left, Maggie Aartila, Ashley McIntire and Slava Hoffman; and top row from left, Erika Goudzwaard, Thomas Morrison, Amanda Arens, Andrea Kleinpaste and Haley LaLande.
