Concert to battle suicide, violence

A free benefit concert to battle American Indian teen suicide and family violence will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Falling Rock Cafe and Bookstore at 104 E. Munising Ave. in Munising. The Rev. Lynn Hubbard, right, will perform original songs and traditional songs of the season. The nonprofit Turtle Island Project in Munising is organizing this third annual "Cowboys and Angels" concert to benefit the White Buffalo Calf Woman Society in Mission, S.D.: the first Native American domestic violence shelter in the world.
