Munising’s Ashley DeLisle and Willow Carmody turned in their best performances of the year to lead the Mustangs to victory in a dual meet at the Pictured Rocks Golf Course in Munising on Tuesday.

The Mustangs shot 218 strokes, while the Sault followed with 241.

“Considering the weather, it was about 38 degrees, rainy and even snowed at one point, the girls played awesome,” Munising coach Bette Immel said. “Ashley shot her best round of the year, and Willow Carmody shot her low round too. It’s the best we’ve done as a team all year. It was pretty spectacular.”

Delisle had the low score for the day, finishing with 52 strokes for the Mustangs. Carmody and Katy Matson each finished with 53 for Munising, with Amy Kuivanen ending her day with a 60.
