City plans spring cleanup

MARQUETTE — The 30th annual spring cleanup in the city of Marquette will be Saturday, April 26. The Marquette Beautification and Restoration Committee seeks volunteers to clean school and church grounds and parking areas anytime from April 12 to May 10.


City garbage bags will be provided to volunteers, along with a coupon for a free small order of french fries from McDonald’s.


Pick up free bags and coupons at the Heritage Motors service department at 729 W. Washington St. in Marquette from  8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
