Holmes formerly owned and operated Precision Paintball and Tossava has a culinary arts degree from Northern Michigan University.
“We’re so excited to have Rick and Byron join our team,” owner Jim Grundstrom said.
Jill Grundstrom comes into the family business with a master’s degree in dance education from New York University in Manhattan. She previously worked with American Ballet Theatre until her move back to Marquette.
“It’s great to have someone like Jill here to insure our customers are informed, respected and taken care of in the Frei tradition,” said Gaudy Jandron, sales manager.
Frei has been serving Marquette since 1922 and is the area’s largest Chevrolet dealer.
The Lake Superior Community Partnership elected board officers for 2008 at its annual board of directors meeting on Jan. 31. Serving as officers on the board are: President John Marshall, Vice-President Les Wong, Marketing and Membership Chairman Stu Bradley, Economic Development Chairman Tim Ryan, Administration Chairman Tom Edmark, Secretary Rick Ament and Treasurer Mike Roy. New members added to the board are Orrin Bailey, Gerry Corkin, Joe Esbrook, Jerry Irby, Kerrie McCallister, Barb Meyer, Steve Peffers, Steven Pierson and Doreen Takalo.
Jennifer L. Claus was recently promoted to the position of account manager with the Upper Peninsula Health Group of the Upper Peninsula Health Plan. She will provide leadership for clients and project teams and ensure business-service delivery.
Claus joined the UPHP staff in November 1999. She has a bachelor’s degree in health education from Northern Michigan University and was born and raised in downstate Tecumseh. The health group administers health care solutions to employers and other purchasers of health care services.
