HOUGHTON — The 2010 NCAA Division II women’s basketball tournament will most likely be the last time that Sarah Stream sets foot on a basketball court, at least in a competitive and organized setting. For the past six years, Stream — a 2004 Westwood High School graduate — has been playing basketball for the Michigan Tech Huskies, where she has had quite the career. Stream has had many honors, the most recent being her selection to the Daktronics All-Midwest Region Second Team for the second straight year. Stream was also picked as part of the ESPN the Magazine’s All-America Third Team two weeks ago, and last weekend she was chosen to be part of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team. All honors aside, Stream and the Huskies are working toward another goal: the NCAA Division II National Championship. “We are thrilled to be hosing the regionals this weekend,” Stream said in a telephone interview.
