What's New at Peter White Public Library

The library shelves are a treasure trove of information for teens about college life and career choices, and for parents seeking insights into just how involved they should become in their child’s undergraduate experience.
College Unzipped: An All-Access Backstage Pass into College Life from All-Nighters and Exam Nail-Biters to Tuition Fees and Getting Your Degree provides observations and advice from current college students and recent graduates on everything from getting along with roommates to choosing the right courses to successful budgeting. Nervous freshman will appreciate this practical, often humorous, inside look at student life on campus.

Why do we attend the theater vs. an evening at the cinema, a stroll in a sculpture garden, a hall of still-lifes at a museum? The rock musical “Hair” holds the answer at the core of its success.
