1/6/11 Alaska at NMU hockey line charts

The Northern Michigan University hockey team hosts the Alaska Nanooks ay 7:35 p.m. tonight in Game 1 of a two game series at the Berry Events Center.

The Nanooks and Wildcats meet again at 7:35 p.m. Saturday.

Kyle Follmer is moving up to forward tonight and Austin Handley gets his spot with Scott Macaulay in the defensive group.

Reid Ellingson will get the start in goal tonight for NMU. It's his first start since being yanked from a Dec. 10 game against Lake Superior State in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Wildcats haven't played in a CCHA game since Dec. 10 and their last regular season game was Dec. 16.
