12-2-11 Miami at NMU hockey line charts

The Northern Michigan Wildcats host MIami tonight at the Berry Events Center in Game 1 of this two-game series in Marquette. Puck drops at 7:35 p.m.

Game 2 is Saturday at 7:35 p.m.

Northern is without three of its top defensemen tonight after Kyle Follmer, Scott Macaulay and Wade Epp received game disqualifications at the conclusion of Game 2 against Michigan State. Both sides got into a confrontation after the whistle that resulted in three Wildcats getting game DQs and two Spartans.

NMU will skate with only 17 players — 11 forwards and dix defensemen.

Kory Kaunisto is slated as a defensemen but look for him to rotate between the blue line and fourth line.
