Coreau made 50 saves in Friday’s 3-1 win for the Wildcats at home against Lake Superior State, which was one stop short of his career high.
Coreau also stopped 32 of 34 shots on Saturday in a 3-0 loss to Lake Superior State, but the two shorthanded pucks that got past Coreau were his own fault as he misplayed a puck behind the net and let a blast from the blue line slip in through the five hole.
Because of those two goals, Coreau was only a third star behind teammates Erik Higby and Reed Seckel in the Inside 1401 Sports Blog NMU Sports Three Stars.
