1/12/13 NMU hockey line charts: Wildcats go for sweep of RedHawks

MARQUETTE — The Northern Michigan University hockey team wraps up its CCHA regular season series with No. 6 Miami at 7:35 p.m. tonight at the Berry Events Center.

Northern scored a 2-1 victory on Friday night in Game 3 of the series via a game-winning goal by freshman forward Darren Nowick and a season-high 43 saves by junior goaltender Jared Coreau.

Miami picked up a win and shootout win in Games 1 and 2 of the series in Oxford back in November.

There are only two minor changes for NMU tonight with Jake Johnson and Robert Lindores replacing DJ Vandercook and Justin Rose.

For Miami, Steve Mason replaces Max Cook and Ryan McKay gets the start in goal over Jay Williams.
